Twenty Typefaces that changed the world is a reworking of John L. Williams's “Fifty Typefaces that Changed the World. This editorial project required me to curate a book featuring 19 of the original Typefaces, as well as selecting an additional 20th typeface released in the last decade and designing a collectable specimen for it.

The final 108-page book, case bound and printed on 128gsm silk coated paper is a well-considered luxurious book that is well structured and avoids monotony through the variation of different specimen spreads.

The specimen for Daniel Perraduin’s West takes the form of a 30-page Index deck paying homage to West’s German origin. The Specimen is housed in a jet black embossed case, calling for the document to be touched and felt.
